AGA Cookers for Suffolk, Essex, and All of East Anglia
It was in 1922 that blind Nobel-Prize winning physicist Dr Gustaf Dalen invented the world’s first heat-storage cooker. Dalen created a cast iron cooker capable of every kind of cooking simultaneously, through its two large hotplates and two ovens. The now famous Aga was born and by 1929 manufacturing was under way at the Aga Heat Ltd factory in Smethwick.
Until 30th November 2017 the Aga was made at the Aga Rangemaster foundry near Ironbridge Shropshire. A UNESCO World Heritage site and the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution.
It is still made in the UK and manufactured in Telford Shropshire.
Servicing your Aga
It is very important to maintain your Aga. Oil cookers need servicing every 6 months and Gas cookers annually.
Electric Aga only need a check-up every 2 years.
All our engineers are Aga registered and trained.
