Our team
MARTIN & CAROLINE MELVILLE
Martin has been in the Plumbing and Heating industry for 40 years. He has been in the Cast Iron Cooker business for 52 years.
Caroline is our Finance Director and has been involved with the business for 30 years.
They opened the showroom here in Martlesham in 2010. The business has had a few locations over the years but they are truly established here on Bridge Business Park. They really do make a great team.
MARTIN MOSTERT aka Martin Jr
Martin Jr has worked for Martin Melville Plumbing and Heating for 30 years and is our longest serving member of the team.
He is our most senior and most qualified engineer. He is registered with OFTEC, Gas Safe, HETAS – covering ‘wet’ wood burning stoves.
Martin Jr is extremely knowledgeable and has worked on all appliances, boiler and wood burner installations.
JEF TITMARSH
Jef has worked for us for 19 years. He is our second-in-command engineer and is full of knowledge and experience. He is OFTEC, Gas Safe and HETAS registered and has also worked on all appliance, boiler and wood burner installations.
BARNEY FARROW
Barney joined us in 2017 as an apprentice. We have guided him through his training and he is fully qualified as an Oil and Gas Engineer. He has also completed his HETAS qualification for installation and service of Multi Fuel Wood Burning Stoves.
MANDY GOODEN
Mandy joined the team in October 2021. For 12 years she was an Authorised Aga Demonstrator and was a regular demonstrator here at Martin Melville. For 7 years before that she worked for an AGA Independent Retailer in deepest darkest Essex.
